Meanwhile, in America, the budget bill has been stripped of its support for Ukraine, so President Biden is promising non-existent money for the unrelenting offensive. Now that the Republicans have already overthrown their own congressional president, this is unlikely to change. Can Biden go to war, since he would find it hard to show success?
Russian nationwide nuclear exercise, nuclear bomb/nuke test. Which is more indicative: Putin's strength or weakness? Bluff or deliberate escalation? How much would a Russian nuclear test change the geopolitical situation?
Beyond the current war:
This week marks the 50th anniversary of the Yom Kippur War, which got off to a very bad start for Israel. Was it a rational risk to the survival of the state? Did the Samson option really exist?
Going even further back in history, after the Canadian parliamentary scandal, a Nazi bashing or sensitisation was launched, for example, according to Politico, 'one does not automatically become a Nazi by fighting with the Nazis against the Soviets'. It seems a very dangerous way to rewrite history on the basis of today's ideological dogmas (see Putin as the new Hitler)...
