Can we say for sure about our future? Is an ecological disaster really inevitable and coded into the way our civilisation works? Or is it up to us to give space to positive visions that provide realistic answers to global problems and solutions to help make them a reality? Are disaster scenarios real visions of the future, or merely self-fulfilling prophecies that paralyse positive social action?

How should a scientist, a politician or a journalist approach the question of social crisis if he wants to make his community aware of the depth of the crisis and at the same time motivate its members to act? Balázs Stumpf-Biró, a collapse researcher, and András Takács-Sánta, a human ecologist, discussed these questions. The discussion is moderated by Péter Ungár, co-president of LMP.
