Why has Facebook stopped working? | A cyberpandemic on the horizon?

On Monday, October 4, at around 6 p.m. Hungarian time, Facebook and all other social networking sites owned by Mark Zuckerberg went down. Management cited a configuration error.

But is this really the case? Could the shutdown have something to do with the threat of what Klaus Schwab has called a cyber-pandemic?
