At an event in Moscow, Vladimir Putin spoke in detail about the changes he sees happening in the world and the new world order that could emerge after the war.
02:13 "The next decade will be the most important in world politics since the end of the Second World War. The historic period of undivided Western domination of world affairs is coming to an end. The unipolar world is becoming a thing of the past. We stand at a historical frontier. We are facing probably the most dangerous, unpredictable and most important decade since the end of the Second World War," said the Russian President.

Castel, if the world order is a set of norms, rules and international agreements that are accepted by all players in the world order, then the hegemonic power, currently the United States, has no need to start every conflict with military force. "However, in history, these world orders eventually fall apart, causing the world to descend into chaos, and out of that chaos another world order emerges."
08:39 But the Israeli security policy expert believes that the vacuum that is now being created will ultimately be filled again by the United States. "The reason this world order fell apart is because the Americans no longer needed it. When the Soviet Union fell apart, it lost its legitimacy. America no longer needed it, but they were distracted by the September 11 attacks and didn't realise that geopolitical realities had changed. It took the rise of a new threat like the former Soviets to get America to come back, because until there is a threat like that, America is going to waste its time with what's a man and what's a woman and all these statue-throwing and burning down their downtowns."
